Hi Guys

I received a SD card from a client that was used on a android phone.
For what I can tell, the card have 2 partitions: android_meta and android_expand and this seems to be the result of encryption by Android OS.

I have checked this: http://nelenkov.blogspot.pt/2015/06/dec ... orage.html

But I was wondering if there's some kind of software/tool that can already manage this,

Thanks

@ pclab,

MicroSD Encryption inside Android OS.

the Basics, Encryption means KEY (should be somewhere to decrypt)

Android saves the KEY somewhere (hidden partition) and ONCE you format/restore Android Default its GONE
coz it will generate another one .. thats the point of Encryption.

you may start from here

Note: same concept when you FORMAT smartware drive using Its own format tool, it will Generate another KEY and whatever WAS THERE is gone. (UNLESS..!!!)

so far i don`t know any solution for such a case if the phone is formatted/restored. (unless someone correct this)

good luck
