Hey Everyone,

We would like to announce our new site where you can purchase hard drive donors. https://hdd-donors.eu/

We are in Europe Germany and run our own data recovery company, so all testing is done thoroughly and all specs for all drives are taken from PC3000 including firmware / headmaps / microjogs etc. If you have any questions or requests for drives that are not online then send us a email to service@hdd-donors.eu

Use the code: hddguru if you are purchasing any donors from our online shop for a 10% discount on everything.

Feel free to reply to this post if you have any questions.

Nice website.
Suggestion: list capacity of drives in the title as 1TB (currently 1.0TB). Most people will type in "1TB" in the search box. As is, the site returns no results.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback.

We have now updated our search engine today which will provide suggestions for similar drives and will update as you type.
Also the donor matching guide is in progress and will be released within the next week. There will be a separate page for every brand with Seagate being the first guide to be released.

Good point "labtech" and thanks for your feedback.
This has been fixed now and all existing drives updated on the site.

If you guys find anything else or suggestions on improvements to the site please let us know :)

Hi,

I'd like to tell you more about my website : https://hddpcb.eu
I began to sell PCBs in French mid December 2017,
Although the website was from the beginning bilingual,
I had my translations checked recently by a english native.
so now english speaking customers can easily see my tutorials and search their PCBs.

The only thing I didn't fully translate is the video : https://youtu.be/lEPFtTf86Dw
I've added english subtitles (hope you can see them)
but I didn't double voices.
tell me what you think about it.

All PCBs are sold for 24,90€,
we can move the bios chip for you from the old PCB to the new one for 15€

Damien

Well, am aware of this, also you should know that PCB Factories are located mostly in China, so why should i pay more if i know the source with cheaper price?
unless you cannot wait for your order and time is important.

BTW, some time ago i used to buy those pcb`s for 6$ till 2y back they increased.

This 60$ PCB here: http://www.donordrives.com/wd30npvx-00n ... 5-pcb.html
I got it for 18$

hope its clear here.

And all the best day1data

Hello,

I would like to tell you about my website https://drive-for-parts.com
which exist since July 2017.
I recently redesigned several pages of the website.

This website was built from scratch with the idea to facilitate the search and comparison of donors and I would suggest that you read the home page to learn more and see some screenshots.

If you need a hard drive, just enter its model name in the search field.
In case you're redirected to the home page, it simply means we don't have the model yet.

Currently, the website is focused on hard drives search (rather than PCB search) but the database references many PCBs as well, some of which are not published yet.
If you need a particular PCB, dont' hesitate to drop me a line as I can query the database.

Shipping costs:
  • PCB can be shipped from 2.50 USD to Europe and from 3 USD Wordwide.
  • HDD can be shipped from 5 USD to Europe and from 6 USD Worldwide.
More details here: https://drive-for-parts.com/shipping
For HDD with 9.5 mm thickness (or more), we use a small parcel as protection is better, but shipping in bubble letter at your own risk is also possible.
(Please contact me before your purchase if you want the hard drive to be shipped in an enveloppe.)

I speak French, English, German and Greek.

There are now several websites from Chinese suppliers with ".eu", ".ru" and ".com" extensions. They are often translated in many languages (French, Spanish, Russian, German, ...) so that, at first glance, they might look from local companies. But they display no physical / postal address (only email) and hide their WHOIS informations. This is unloyal competition.

@eintein9: Chinese suppliers are not necessarily cheaper. We have PCBs from 9 USD and HDDs from 15 USD.

Julien
