Non SMR-drives in the 10TB+ capacity

I am looking for a non SMR-drives in the 10TB+ capacity span. I was looking for the WD Gold 12TB but since there are alternatives I've also looked into the HGST-drives although I've heard the support is unfortunately lacking at HGST despite being owned by WD. The Seagate drives are all SMR-drives in the biggest capacities so I can easily exclude them so there's only Toshiba left but I haven't head anything about them, regarding their reliability and speed.

And since they're all Enterprise drives i wonder which one are the most quiet one? The WD Gold does in idle go down to 20dB which is rather good.

What do you guys think?

I know WD will phase out the HGST-brand but I've not read anywhere from a good source stating they should be re-branded HGST drives. And what drives are not Seagate SMR-drives then, i guess you don't know it yourself? I know for certain their Archive drives definitely is SMR drives.

AIUI, WD's Gold drives are rebadged HGST helium models. There are lots of clues on the PCB and on the label. Just pick one and I'll show you.

Seems the elitism is high in this forum and the expertise seems to be unwilling to help. Still i haven't gotten a straight answer. I can take a remark that I've was wrong regarding WD, they are only rebagded HGST drives but that wasn't the case before WD bought HGST and may not be the case until a year or two after. The second poster should've at least at same time give me some examples of SMR-drives beside the remark but he didn't, neither did fzakbar.

I take it as there are no SMR drives in the 10TB capacity.

If he was the most knowledgeable he would give me some good tip of which 10TB+ drives after mentioning the faults in my post which i do not have absolutely no problem with. It's funny that none has yet to give me any good answers yet instead of continuing rambling about my first post and harsh reply. Sorry for the word shit word though but he just didn't answer my initial question.

Now i know which drives to buy without any of his help, I just wanted some tip before i go ahead and pick that HGST rebranded WD Gold drive i was looking for.

BTW, I don't know the answer to your SMR question, but I would consult Seagate's product manuals (although these are not always helpful).
