Hi Folks,
Hopefully everyone will be fine.let me come to the point.
yesterday , i installed USB-LOCKER.EXE (Software Orbit (Pvt) LTD) & locked my drive with that application.
i tried to Un-lock my drive again after password screen.it was successfully unlocked but there was no data on the drive.
I removed drive & attached again.system detected the drive but asked me to format in case i want to use it.
I understand that USB Locker experience has gone wrong.
I started formatting my drive normally.it was taking too long to format the drive.
then I cancelled the format process & chosen the QUICK FORMAT Option.
Drive was successfully formatted. Now i want to recover my data from that drive.
I have used
1-FILE SCAVENGER
2-DISK DRILL
3-EASEUS DATA RECOVERY WIZARD
4-GETDATABACK SIMPLE
5-RECOVERX (Recommended by transcend)

None of the above has provided even satisfactory results.
File scavenger detects only 254 GB Data after long scan (about 4 hrs)
Disk Drill also detects few movies file with its unique file name system.
Easeus & GTDB were not so convincing to bring back anything after deep scans.
RecoverRx recoverd few video files but that was not even 10% of the drive.

I did not copy anything on the drive after above incident.
I am looking for you kind suggestion & personal experience for my DATA Recovery.
Please if there is anyway by which i can get data back with ACTUAL FOLDERS & FILENAME.

Thanking You in anticipation

First of all need to check what you did. Because first format may wipe part of data on your drive. As example this video https://youtu.be/zZjRrFLPW5Q shows what is different between format and quick format of USB Stick.
Need to check your content with Hexadecimal viewer. If you really wipe first several GB of drive it will mean that most of metadata lost.
Anyway you may try scan with Pro software like UFS Explorer and R-Studio to ensure.

After watching video, i think what i did wrong to start full format of hard disk.
May i Have gone with QUICK FORMAT Option!.
what is the plus , I stopped normal format after few minutes.
I shall give a try to your recommended software for chances of recovery.
please see some results from DISK DRILL after Re-Scan.

Hi friend.

according to your post you used low level format. it means partiel hex codes totally wiped. normally main data structures stored in 0-5GB. normally you have run 3_4 min low level format, it means all DIR structures have permanently wiped out.(it depend your time and speed). maybe few stuctures can be there. some few structures canbe hold in defferant places on you drive. so don't keep hopes nomore about DIR. now you can recover RAW recover. means you can get files without original names like Recoverd video file 01, 02.

1st you have to run full scan and check how much original DIR you have. after that you should run FILE TYPES recover.

Thanks to all above for your precious comments.
I was able to get back almost 55% of my data with R-Studio (in RAW Folders).
the rest was found but in corrupt format.

Dananjaya,
Here u can see Scan Results of POWER DATA RECOVERY.
Its almost same as previous two (R-Studio & Disk Drill).
Some large media files are corrupt at some points (those recovered files also stopped at same time frame)
Overall experience was great.it was easy to use , interface too simple & preview feature also good.

hi.
long files not working properly means, somerimes long files store in part by part in defferant palaces on the platter.
eg- we get 2tb file. assume 1st 300 mb store at LBA 500000. 2nd 300 maybe LBA 3600000. other parts would be LBA 8900000.

so this all info hold in DIR structures.if DIR sttuctures missing no one knows where is the other parts of files. RAW recovery system , search the file header and get data as a one position.

so don't try to repair it. it is only a waste.

1. if the folder snap is what you are trying to recover.. why? just download it all again. much of it is probably either out of date or you would likely not watch it again.

2. is this an Ad for Power Data Recovery? I find it hard to believe that R-Studio would do leess than this software.

3. You don't show any results of trying to open any found files in the folders of file types. Many software's "recover" from raw by using file type matching, but files are either corrupted or just not even the supposed file type.

personally I think this is a waste of time.

HaQue,
Dear , Snap is just for letting u guys know , i tried your recommendations as I requested.
There were almost 750 GB data of BluRay Movies .
80% movies successfully played after recovery.
rest recovered but stop at some point.
There was Approximately 30 GB of FLAC Audios which i purchased from different sources (Online & CD's)
That is my actual loss.
I am not here to Publicize Power Data Recovery nor any other.I shared my views on every tested software.
I already written , i recovered my data with R-Studio which was most best of all.
