 Post subject: ST1000LM010-9YH146 Freeplay family to Cut head

Hi
I have this drive that head #4 is currupt and dont work, but is seems it dosent support cut head in mrt, is there a way to Off head #4 ? like manually change rom oo head map?

Try to use data extractor part . There is an option to select heads.

I tested in Toshiba drives. It's working nice. Never tested Seagate drives yet.

I dont need data! just want to repair drive.
