 Post subject: shorting point Samsung S4LN062

Anyone know the shorting point or work around for Samsung 850EVO S4LN062 i think its Samsung PM871 Lenovo

Either the terminal is locked or not supported by PC3000 ssd?

Yes, red should be the shorting point, and yellow the terminal. What is the behaviour you get? Are all other voltages correct? Do the chips get warm or hot when powered?

Just get an error from PC3000 shorting is not successful, i think this is terminal lock

Does it come up on SATA when you short the 2 pins and power it up?
It should provide a RAM-disk on SATA with approximately 80% of the RAM size as the disk size.
