I have here a Palmer WD10SPZX that doesn't read ROM at all. MRT can ID it, and I even have User Sectors access, but it is very slow. When I try to Close SA access I get this:

Don't know what I should try to solve slow responding problem.
Data is not important, only learning proposes.

Firmware locked drive, you have to use Unlocked PCB
SlowResp solution wont work either, problem elsewhere.

i can probably circumvent the slow problem, but it can be several things, including weak heads. It needs to be properly diagnosed and yeah, won't work without an unlocked pcb.
