I have a wd40purx hd, which presented firmware problem.
In the disk manager it appears: disk not initialized, when command is to initialize it says:
incorrect function.
So I changed the logic board for an equal one, the disk started to recognize and I managed to create a partition but when I do tests it shows an error with about 10gb of recorded data.
Is there a way to recover the original firmware?
How to solve problems like that?
I am an electronics technician and I am starting in data and disk recovery, and it would be interesting to start with my own disk.
