Hi, i'm trying to run Hard Disk Wipe Tool, under windows 2K SP4 with 1 HD and 2 Compact flash cards, and when I launch it I have a error windows saying: Error Accessing device: incorect function. when I click ok, another windows pop ups saying: Cannot change visible in OnShow or OnHide.

I want Erase the Compact flash cards.

If some budy have a solution....

If all you need is to wipe out your data no matter what operating system the software runs on; and if your flash is seen as an IDE device, than I would recommand you using DBAN http://dban.sourceforge.net/
It uses the linux kernel, but you don't need to know linux to use it. All you need to do is to create a bootable floppy (using rawrite on windows or dd on any unix system), disconnect all your hard drives (those you don't want to wipe out) and follow the instructions.

DBAN lets you choose from different wipe methods including the DoD 5220-22.M Standard.

Hi, iraklion, thank for the answer. "dban" works fine. you try to use the Hard Disk Wipe Tool on win 2K.??? because i try torunit in differents pcs in I have the same error.
