I have a bad PC. afterward, I understand The problem is MSI p4m900m2 mainboard. it causes BSOD much time.
Most probably South Bridge is bad.

I installed a bad drive that is st500dm002. it has many Reallocated Sector 3392 at the beginning.
after the 3 weeks later RSC inflated to 32.464.

I do like the fact that you keep posting "problems" of "inflated Reallocated Sectors" caused by PCBs and motherboards ...

Did you ever consider other factors like Seagate F3 arch drives are JUNK and they do get bad heads and surface quite often ?

I don't buy seagate but te folks do it.. And they want to recover data.. or throw it.

Today i recover two of seagate st500dm002 drive. RSC 's very high. 32464.
I regenerate translator, clear -list and smart . I do zero fill. all problems gone. test result's O.K.
there is no reallocated sector . And after that I realize that the head contact is very dirty.
Some bad mainboard or else makes RSC high. sometimes this is not permanent..
