| If you can read SA and it looks fine but no access to user data/any sectors - heads issue, if cannot then a lot of issues. |

Hi guys, I won't create new account (like some known promoters do) and I'm still here. This is not my job to promote something. Maybe I offend the "God" of this forum therefore he pour out the pail of slush on me. I think my question about price of Atola was boiling-point Laura, I think we're from same company, so please, do not hurt me |

Just in case I would say that you don't need to seek PCB with same raw, only those symbols should match:

| In the PC3k UDMA it is very easy to fix 0 LBA problem, just by one click solution. But hard to do in the PCI version. |

I also received that sh*t email and I remember your old comparison PC300 vs Atola. Your marketing strategy is very agressive. I don't think this is good idea to compare those both products. I use PC3K and I understood that I really don't need Atola because I suppose PC3K has functions which Atola has too. Jesse, please explain me detailed why Atola's price is SO HIGH? As I know this is aroun 10'000 $. WHY??? |

All people forget about ability of PC3K to read the data by head map in Data Extractor when one of the heads is damaged. As far as I know ACE also developed very nice thing to read the surface with PHYSICALLY damaged head from WD ROYL without translator problem. In their news written: you can find it in the next update Does salvation data tool support this? I mean ROYLs with damaged head. In my experience successful head swap on the last ROYL models almost impossible |

As I said you cannot compare these tools because Atola is product developed by one guy. pc3k has been developing more than 15 years as I remember and there is a lot of people who develop and improve this tool. I agree with Falther, pc3k tool is for digging into HDD Atola seems to be a tool which make a superficial work. Anyway Dmitriy is a genius man without doubt. But I cannot understand why the price is so high for this product??? |

Actually 70% of all questions here could be divided to 2 groups:
1) Hi guys. My drive is gone. I have no experience in data recovery. I have no necessary hardware/software. Seems to be drive is knocking. I'm familiar with technique because I'm smith (or mechanician, car driver, surgeon, electrician) I checked HDA, it looks fine. How can I recover my drive?
The answer is: GO TO PRO (or do DIY because you're genius )
2) Hi guys. The WD drive is gone. I'm data recovery expert. I have PC3K. Seems to be drive is knocking. I checked HDA, it looks fine (of course in the cleanroom ). How can I recover this drive?
The answer is: RTFM. |
