They all are made the same way. Unsolder 4 capacitors from USB bridge and solder SATA. That's all.

Well, all hope is on Frank... If your qualifications allow, you can measure the voltages after the converters on the board yourself. Judging by the lack of current at 12V, the spinner chip burned out. But not 100%. If yes, there is a high probability of damage to the preamplifier. ...
