we have been providing basic dr services (logical and some physical thru replacing parts). i would like to improve our success rate, which currently stands at 30-40%. i am willing to invest in the right tools and have been looking at the Atola Insight, Deepspar and Salvation data group of products. i am not sure which would be the right one in our case and the best way forward. can any one help.

Each time I read a post like this I am suddenly hit with Deja Vu.....

...This topic is discussed many times in this forum.

Seems like everybody is starting in DR with no real experience or knowledge. It is a shame because ultimately this is what will end up damaging the industry... :(

DeepSpar / Ace Lab - is the best kit, then Atola is next best & then SD (but be warned about support & buggy software)

If your after the best kit (which is also the most expensive) then then following is worth researching:

http://deepspar.com/products-overview.html
Disk Imager
PC3000 Flash SSD
PC3000 + Data Extractor

Soft Centre kit

Iphones / Ipads etc

Cant withhold to go more into details for Atola tools.

Sorry, but I dont like to see a general ranking for Atola on "3rd place".

As there is more than one Atola tool offered - its the user to define the needs
and on the other side the Atola tools are really different to the other tools in
their features / user interface.

I.E. - I wouldnt compare the DDI with Atola Insight Ethernet with its extended
features, but more likely with either Atola (Forensic) Imager or the Atola Bandura
(both with outstanding cloning speed and the latter offers stand allone functionallity).

Have a look to the website for your area: http://www.atola-europe.com
