Have a ST3250823ACE [250g] its from a DVR, and I had read that 0 filling the drive would cause the DVR to reinitialize the drive? I used the tools from this site to do just that.. However after doing so it was no longer viewable under disk management. Yet the low level software would see it. (couldn't reformat however.)

Is there anything I can do short of an RMA to get this drive formatted?

BTW: did try the seagate tool and it couldn't see it either.
