This doesn't help me at all. I've been collecting faulty HDDs for the last few months for the purpose of learning, as well as paid a hefty amount for PC3K in order to upskill and learn the skills and gain the knowledge. Since this area is new to me I'm requesting advice, I'm not someone who's dropped his drive and is crying because I've lost my collection of MP3s, so I think you have the wrong impression. I've already learnt a lot from this forum and some of its helpful members.
As mention I was asking for any advice/direction on how to proceed with diagnosing the drive if anyone was willing to help.
