i have a WDC-WD5000BMVW 500 GB USB 3

in esntinel is in below pic

in my computer have a drive that balnk and readonly

i want recover data

can i used with solotion usb3 -> sata sawp usb2-> sata pinouts?

pls help me ? any ide?

From the picture, the WD is OK.

What is the problem? Try to explain better.
Why update FW, if the disk is OK?

yes smart is OK , but hdd don't work

when hdd connect to system , sound is normal but only a drive is open (blank and with size 0 byte )

i know in this western hdd we have 2 drive ( the first 500 MB and second drive 450 GB )

the first drive 500 MB have needed software for run second drive , and this drive in my experience is read only

in my condition only a drive is open but size that 0 byte

in wd site i read for update firmware therefore i try that but not successful

in management windows hdd is not detect


in end i think only solution covert usb3 hdd pcb to sata with soldering
are you any experience about that (i mean usb3)?
