can anyone recommend me a good software or tool to recover accidentally deleted files? I've seen a lot of claims on the internet, but none of them do what they say, or aren't free at all.

R-STUDIO is one of the best all around products is quite affordable, and worth every cent they charge.

There are several. Depending on your exact situation (which you haven't explained), then they have a varying liklihood of success.

I politely disagree with your extremely general comment - I know people who have had very successful results using software to recover accidentally deleted files. Unless you know that you have tried every program, in a situation where it has any chance of success, how can you know that "none" of them do what they say?

At the beginning, you didn't say it had to be a free program (and in some ways, you get what you pay for e.g. support) - but even with that limitation, successful recovery programs do exist.

If you clearly explain exactly what your situation is, and explain what programs you've tried so far and with what results, then you may get some suggestions.

Note that you must not install any software (nor make any other changes) on the drive where the files were deleted.
