Hello guys, so recently my drive stooped to work, at first it would still show up on pc but do not recognize it, now it doesn't. Pls guys take a look and tell me if its likely to be pcb issue.

i might consider that for one of my other drives, but this one is not as valuable, to fix would it be possible by swapping heads from another donor drive?

You run into the WD head alignment issue the moment you remove the top cover. Do you have experience with head swaps tools etc ?

Check it in MHDD. Maybe it'll be BUSY for a while and then you can check its condition (SMART).
