Basically, as the title says. I have a 500GB hard drive, I mirrored a 320GB hard drive onto it using Data Rescue 3 (mac). Now I seem to have a 500GB hard drive with no files on it and it thinks it is only 320GB.

I have tried formatting but after that I have no clue what to try next.

Please advise.

Thanks for your time.

Probably HPA active. Boot from MHDD and unclip it. It's pretty easy to do. MHDD would tell you if HPA is active and the drive has been clipped.
