Hi,

Was thinking about getting some sort of magnifier lamp for when I'm hot air soldering & inspecting PCB's.
I have a USB pen style which is okish but was wondering what you use?

A quick look on eBay found some but not sure if they are any good for DR.

Hi Loki,

Personally i have a couple of these in my lab http://www.maplin.co.uk/22w-fluorescent-daylight-magnifier-lamp-47980. I find them a good quality magnifier with a full circular flurescent ring lamp which provides an excellent quality shadowless light for fine soldering. They also sell spare lamps should you need them (never had to buy one yet tho)...
