Does this mean that 701537, 701590, 771590, 701567, and 701596 are all interchangeable?

Hi,
Unfortunately, not all the informations given here are true

4-701567 you can use 701537
This two PCBs are NOT compatible (interchangeable)
In another way are wired the signals in the connector J1
701537 -> J1 pin 1 is connected to GND
701567 -> J1 pin 2 is connected to GND

1-701590 you can use 701537
These two PCBs are interchangeable only in very few cases !!!
Not all versions of the ROMs are suitable for both PCBs

Hi,
Take a multimeter and see where on the connector J1 is GND at 701567 and at 701537 !!!
Or maybe you meant about 701577 and not 701567

Yes, they are versions of the ROM that will work both on 88i8846-TFJ2 MCU and on 88i8845D-BHG2 MCU
For example - Atlantis ROM 05APE_04AD

There are also versions of the ROM which saved to the PCB equipped with another model of the MCU kills PCB (works only j-tag and tiny console)
For example - Pinnacle ROM 052JA_0427 written to the PCB with MCU 88i8846-TFJ2 kills PCBs

PS Even not all models of the 701590 PCBs are compatible
2060-701590-000 REV A - MCU 88i8846-TFJ2 (internal ROM) and
2060-701590-001 REV A - MCU 88i8846E-TFJ2 (external ROM)
are completely incompatible with each other

Mikippp

MR.Mikippp
i Know exactly what are you talking about and from work experience let me say again
you can use 2060-701590-000 REV A - MCU 88i8846-TFJ2 (internal ROM) instead of 2060-701590-001 REV A - MCU 88i8846E-TFJ2 (external ROM)
and moreover you can use 1537 instead of them both . just try it as pcb swap and i'm more than sure that i do that every day
