 Post subject: How much to recover data - corrupt service area?

About how much should I expect to pay to recover data from a drive with a corrupt service area? The drive is a 500g external 2.5 SATA (Samsung HM500LI).

I've read as little as $200 and as much as $800.

That's not a sufficient diagnosis to get a quote, imo.
