Hey guys.
I have quite huge problem. I had been trying to solve out my problem with mostly of everything i could come up with.

The thing is that my External Hard Drive is not responding , not being shown as harddrive but as Initio Default Controller. I have no possibility of rolling it back or do anything other with it.
I used a software called - "USB device viewer" and it´s showing me this text.

Maybe someone of you guys is having kinda of clue how to help me out , just give me advice what to do ? Cause i have alot of important files located on that hard drive which i´m in need...

What is the model of the drive?

Does it spin up?

The model of the harddrive - MHZ2320BH G1

And sounds like it doesn´t make a sound at all...

Can you access the drive if you connect it to a SATA port on your computer's motherboard?

Is the enclosure powered from the USB port or from an AC adapter?

Now as i connected it to motherboard again with SATA it doesn´t even show up the harddrive..
Or anything as itself... I don´t get this anymore. Everything is getting more and more complicated..

It´s USB powered.

Inside the enclosure is a USB-SATA bridge board with an Initio chip. "USB device viewer" is detecting the bridge board but not the HDD attached to it. This would suggest that, either the enclosure is not getting enough power to spin up the drive, or the drive is faulty.

Can you hear if the drive is trying to spin? You may need to put your ear close to the cover.

If it is not trying to spin, can you upload a detailed photo of the component side of the HDD PCB?
