So earlier i accidently "pushed" my computer into the wall, with a bit of force. Then my computer crashed and i restarted it. It worked just fine, but it was acting pretty slow. (i have 1 ssd and 1 hdd btw) So i restarted it again, but it wouldnt boot up, so i tried to automatic repair on windows 8.1 but that wouldnt either start up. So i started unplugging the hdd, and it would then boot up just fine. Then i plugged it back in while computer was running, and it was spinning and didnt make a single "bad" sound. My computer recognized it, but i couldt view ANY information about it, and i could not open the hard drive?

My computer almost didnt work with the HDD plugged in. Like i could go into the windows explorer and stuff, but i couldnt open programs such as disk management or device manager etc..And my computer was running really slow. The HDD is recognized in both the bios and in my windows explorer, but i couldnt do anything with it. On my computer, it would just show up as "Local Disk (D:)" but thats about it.. No information about remaining storage space or anything.

I have tried chkdsk aswell, but nothing happened. And i would really not try to format it because there is some important files/pictures i really want to keep.

There is a mechanical issue with your drive, that you cannot resolve with any software. It needs professional recovery.

Contact mr_spokk on this forum (he is in Sweden).

Stop working on drive or your data will be lost with no data recovery possibilities.

Your heads are badly, and your heads are making more damages into platters. if damage on platters is important your data will be lost.

then the best is to stop working on drive if you do not have properly tools.

as Jono-ats said contact with mr_spokk because he can help you and is in your country.
