Hi everybody,

so this Toshiba MQ04UBB400 USB3 drive spins fine but is not recognized. I have converted it to SATA by soldering wires (and desoldering capasitors). The situation stays as same, spins fine and that's all.

I have measured the VLI with these results:
-Vcore +1,2V
-Vio +3,3V
- +5V
Resistance between core is 5,2 kOhms.

Any hints how to proceed?

Neither PC3K nor any computer does recognize this one.

Try compatible SATA pcb with different matching families. If not able to ID the drive, better check NVRAM data for further clarification.

There is only this little stiker with QR code and marking 01C0. Reading the QR code I get EF602A49H A5A900034010 if this is even valid infomation.

Is there not a number in gold under the spindle hole like G4330A.

SATA PCB G4311A should be a good match. At least you can rule out the PCB.
