Has anyone used the "module 03 restoration" option in PC3K?

I have no experience with this option...
I mean the manual option - the automatic option does not work, probably because my disk does not have mod 04 (PebbleB family).

There is a short article on the AceLab blog about this option - but only in very general terms and about the automatic option.

I noticed that the manual option uses mod 2E - it is also logically damaged (I don't know why but it is empty), but I also noticed that the 2D mod is internally very similar to it.

I kindly ask for any information on this subject.
