I would appreciate if someone can help me as my Seagate ST380011A Baraccuda 7200.7 hard drive failed to detect. I bought this hard drive just 9 months and now out of the blue it failed to detect. Can anyone help me how to fix it? I saw the firmware in this website and can these firmware helps and how to use them? Or is there a way around to fix it?

U should check if there is power in the hdd or not that can be identified by holding the hdd in on position and chek if the motor is spinning or not .
