Hi Guys

can anyone please provide me with some assistance regarind the above drive.

the drive has come in locked, bios cant detect the drive and none of my tools are able to see the drive.
MHDD cant unlock the drive.

i notice simiar posts with a referral to having a pc3000, is this the only solution or is there a work around?

I would alos liek if possible to try and understand why the drives are locking when they fail, is this someting comon to these drives? and will the pc3000 also recover the informationonce the drive is unlocked? i am feeling more and more that the need for the pc3000 is big and am trying to justify the cost?
