i have wd800bb 00jha0 seen 40 gb only and the serail is xyz.... and the head knoking what to do

The model number is WD800BB 00JHA0, but what is it identified as in BIOS? Also you really should take sempres advice and try MHDD.

If it's clicking the heads are bad.
