MHT2030AT BSY error

September 30th, 2008, 8:23

Hi All,

I have a MHT2030AT - 07EB-009B the media span up upon diagnosis and eventually became ready, the PC3K log showed DM, P-list and ZP damage, so after backing up all mods and ROM wrote a good ZP mod, now the drive stays permanently BSY.

Any ideas how to either rewrite old ZP mod or progress this?

Thanks.

What file size was the ZP module ?

The reason I ask is because often these modules are empty. So if you write one that is >0 bytes over one that is supposed to be empty, it may have overwitten another module.

Yes the original file was 0KB, the new file was 1KB.

Now the drive will not become ready, i can not see a way to access the SA to re-write the original mod, can you think of anything?
