Anyone help, i need another h/d. WD800BB-75AA0, its ticking and need to get data off, i can replace the inners but needs the replacement drive to do it, cheers beforehand.

You seem to be 100% sure that hsa replacement is necessary... For the donor, try ebay first.

Hi, why do you think you need to replace the heads?
That model has head-alingment in the lid, so after a headstack replacement it's hard to align the head right again.
Those WD drives use'd to suffer from Pcb faults that gives the same clicking sounds that a faulty head would do, so it's often not neccesary the heads that need replacement.
I would advice a Pcb replacement first with replacing the ROM containce to the new Pcb.
Post a pic of your Pcb (Printed Circuit Board) with the components facing up, then we can tell you what chip you need to change.
To find a suitable bord you need to match the etched number, i.e 2060-001092-XXX, where X is not importent
