Hello,

I am having issues with this same drive. Every 3-4 seconds I could hear the heads trying to read. Where do I start on how to diagnose what the issue could be?

Thanks,

-JR

If hdd reach´s readiness u could tried to did a surface scan, and check how many and wich kind of sectors show like bad check at ATA registers , but if u heard the hdd trying to read could be too surface damaged or MHA problems,
Regards

Actually, I try to connect via USB and would not load. Cannot see in device manager or dir tree. I do a direct connection (laptop) and get BSOD device error.
