Q :What Are Your Observations on the Selfscan Implemented In the Software ,In My Case I Start The Same I See Hex code At the small Area Thay Have Given ,Then a error is Generated and It Stops ,Thats what i think

Why always want a one click solution ? You should know how IBM/Hitachi selfscan work. Maybe it's lack of documentation on SD ? I had no problems in selfscanning those drives, but there is a procedure to be followed. STRICTLY. If the drive is not in poor conditions, it will be recovered. Errors like wrong selfscan module uploaded to the drive will likely DESTROY the drive giving a KO to the heads.
These tools are, for me, 20% of the overall process. They are TOOLS. 70% is HUMAN FACTOR (you, or the technician, service engineer...) , 10% is drive, including some unpredictable factors. Oh, and assuming the drive is at least in decent conditions, otherwise you should correct the start condition BEFORE any other attempt.
Also, I give you an advice : I know that markets are different, but it's totally useless to try selfscan on a drive that has worked 3 - 5 years : things have a starting and an ending point in their lives, nothing good will come out from such stressed drives. Customer is NOT always right, and the said "tie the donkey where the master says" is not always applicable.

Unfortunatley I rearly ever use selfscan since data is always important.
If I have some extra time over the weekend i will test it just for fun.

I'm certainly up for it.

As soon as I get a free intern to save firmware off of the hundreds of drives I have in the basement so that I can spend my time making money.

Aside from that, I would love to have somewhere to upload/host the firmwares that I do save in the course of repairing drives. I guess we could all start uploading them to the files section here.

Also as far as IBM/Hitachi goes, I would say that the vast majority of the ones I run across with problems have bad head/heads, so the salvationdata tools aren't particularly useful in those cases.

About uploaded fw: too often users upload BAD fw. So additional verification is necessary.
