I have a fall down Samsung HD.
before the HD makes quickly clack, and beebs.
Anybody know what is the hd problem.?
we nedd rescue data from HD.

Seems like your motor has stalled.

Yes could be FDB problems, but in all cases ,until now we dont got any Samsung with FDB problems a lot of cases from Seagate Dropped, but nothing until now im talking thats happend at my country, maybe the people " drop" more Seagate than Samsung, and of course now Seagate its the brand most used here on mexico ... , maybe could be a Head sticktion too, but both cases should be checked by a DR Company

i was thinking stiction too, but the "clacking" sound? we had a samsung 2 weeks ago with stiction. as the one i have seen don't use ramps a jolt when off sends them off the parking zone.

If the drive doesn't spin up heads are not unparked... Can you be more precise about startup sequence?
