One pin of my hard disk broke

So, dismantling a 2.5'' hard disk from a caddy of an old notebook (a Compaq Armada M700), the pin 40 broke; in this site:

I saw it corresponds to ground

However, the hard disk seems to work fine: so, is it so? Or shouldn't I trust it and change the hard disk?

P.S. Could suffer from a terrible pain who designed that caddy!

That's fine, there's plenty of other ground pins; there's nothing to worry about.
