Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

hi guys, i have here for recovery a hitachi HCS725025VLA380,powered on reaches ready but is not detected, using a loader for a vla3 i can see firmware version (but i have lba=0 and no model name and serial) ... i can read nvram, and checking the modules i found bad rsvd in SA-A/B/C and i can't write on SA.
I'm not sure this drive can be considered as a vla3 or not, looking at HITACHI web site they write is a new model with lower noise. have you ever seen these drives?
thank you
