Look platter...

somebody already obtained success with platter in this state here? it has some possibility in data recovery? I want its opinions…

Hello sempre, on u photo looks like was degrated the coating layer, if was, u dont have any hope, unfortunely, at samsung we had cases with head crash, on land zone and on middle of the platters and was possible to get some data but, when the heads lands over platters, and damaged the coating layer, there are not any hope , an MHA exchange surely will be damaged the donnors heads too

I think its pretty much impossible. I have recovered from platter damaged drive myself but nothing that bad. Entire platter looks like it is damage

You can retrieve data in form of dust from filter inside this drive.

very unlikely they could recovery any information at all.
the coating contains the information
so once the platter scratches all over the information is gone forever.

some companys will say that they can recovery the data
but it will cost you £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ a lot
and that a fee for a none recovery charge.

i would pack the dust into a bag and send it to ontrack for recovery
or use it for fairy dust
