I have this Maxtor Fireball 3 2F040L0 710634 ABB KFGA
and used a loader I downloaded to load all overlays but the rom fails.
The util starts of the HDD. g-list gives UBR677 Reading error and
SA Surface Verification gives many Maxtor techno command errors.
(the hdd detects with pc3000 with no serial# and VAM51JJZ (0))

I'm not sure if the loader was correct and I'm stuck

Any ideas?
Can someone help me with the correct firmware (loader) plz.

Likely you have a Sa problem.

yes, SA have bad sector, or you can try other way to write ROM module if you found after writed module don't have any change

SA does have bad. did u check the MOD48?
