well looks like a competition, we need to wait who got the solution first maybe we know the answer,

Well, if the current state of things are any indication, Salvation can't even figure out how to upload a zip file to their website properly so I'm not sure that ACE has anything to worry about.

I'm guessing Salvation will be the first out with the solution. I also suspect Ace will be the first out with a solution that works.

Ace has always been first . But salvation always second , because there are only two runners in this race . :D

HAs anyone ever thought that Salvation is ripping Acelab PC3000 off and stealing the codes?

I can guarante 100% it will be Acelab first OR I will EAT my clean room hat LMFAO

I agree, Ace Labs always seems to be 1 step again and Salvation data seems to always play catch up.

Re: Seagate 7200.11 Issue

It may be that Acelabs is more established and well funded by its customers. SalvationData may be the underdog but they may also be the competition that causes both companies to produce better products, faster support, and better prices.

IMHO I don't think so... Salvation just copies PC3000

Re: Seagate 7200.11 Issue

I agree. there is a reason we own almost 10 Acelab products, and 1 SD product which we barely use!

And so many people is waiting to buy a ready made solution? I should join one of the big players, at this point...

Would this correct the issue with the 7200.11 not being detected in Bios or is the LBA 0 something different?

Got PC3000, just tested it with a couple of drives with LED CC errors and 0 capacity. Worked perfectly.
I'm starting to like Seagates :)

So I see, downloading now.

Have a "LED 0000CC" drive that stays BSY, see if it fixes that!

Will post results.

What a waste of time that was.

Downloaded the update and installed.

Connected up a 7200.11 and entered the utility and selected the new 7200.11 family.

There are new features for "Not coming Ready, LBA 0 and Smart error" fixes.

"Great" I think, finally I can fix this 7200.11 with LED CC error.

Select the "Not coming Ready" feature and all I get is "refer to manual for instructions", and you guessed it....No manual available.
