WD1200BEVS Not accessible

I have a WD1200BEVS-00UST0 which reaches ready and has capacity of 0. When entering PC3000 utlity I get the following error:

Any ideas?

Check for rom corruption. The fact the headmap has checksum error is suspect.

P.s. Did you try another pcb and checked ALSO the translator?

Any luck with the error as per solution.

I'm getting the Head Map Reading Error : Head map sum error on WD750BPVT
