Fujitsu 1624 initial 30 cylinders bad.

We have few of the fuj 1624 where the initial cylinders are bad. These drives initialise late and with lot retries. Is there any way that we can restore these drives.

Servo test on the initial cylinders displays bad sectors, surface scan also shows bad sectors.

the drive is able to read and write the service zone.

Please advice.
