Can you help ?
We have PLAT 120GB of 160GB familly.
the disk is clicking unusuall, it's not defect heads.
the drive is not recognized in MHDD.
the clicking will not stop after spin up

The most typical MHA, problems, be carefull, over hitachi are some tendence to head crash, if u need the data send to a proof DR company,

If you are sure that it is not a head issue, then it most likely a bad board or corrupted firmware. You may also have servo damage. If the drives was dropped you could have platter alignment issues as well.

heads can be WEAK also, not only K.O.

well if u are sure heads ok, maybe u check BIAS from each head, the only way its using a DDA; to check if reach Servo Marks,
