Cheetah 10K, PCB swap

Hi

Can I transplant firmware on defect PCB of Cheetah 74GB

We have identical PCBs but solder of firmware helped not.
What is problem ? Damaged firmware ?

The defect PCB is health, no damaged protections.

How is recovareable Cheetah PCB ?

Why did u need to exchange PCB?, the hdd doesnt spin?

Could u post u here, wich ROM did u exchange it?, if its correctly, could be its not doing correctly pins contacts with the pcb, check continuisly on each pin

Are you sure the drive is not just in Spin up Disable mode?
Which is standard for SCSI

Or flash chip is bad.
Or your soldering is not that good - one pin in the air and ...
