I have a drive with linux which has bad sectors with software that can view the data and see which sectors are bad and try to read data from these sectors.

Hi,
Linux drive with bad clusters, linux uses ext2/ext3 that's the filesystem.
Honest suggestion ...try to copy in less volume I mean single file at a time if you dont want take a DR person's help or not willing to spend.
If the data is very important ... dont try free tools nor fsck ... give it to a DR Pro/company.
