HRT is very powerfull complex but it can recover only small number of HDDs. But if you need really good tool on these drives (WD xB, WD xA, Samsungs, Seagates Uxx Series, Fujitsu MPG, IBM AVAR AVVA DTLA DPTA DJNA) you will buy HRT. PC-3000 is powerfull complex too, but DOS-based and slowest than HRT (this one is Windows 9x-based), howewer this toolset can recover the big number of HDDs of Maxtor, Fujitsu (all drives), Quantum (fast all drives), IBM (as HRT), Samsung (small number of drives), Kalok, Teac, Conner Peripherals, Seagate, WD (all drives) and some other. I think that for the beginning of data recovery and HDD repair business you need two products: PC-3000 and Data Extractor, and then, after beginning, you will buy HRT.
