HTC DOPOD U1000 password locked

February 24th, 2009, 23:46

Hi guys

Does anyone know how to remove/unlock login password for Windows Mobile 6 HTC DOPOD U1000.
Data is in important, Hard reset will remove the data. The only way is to remove and backup the data from microdrive.

But if there is a way to remove the windows mobile 6 password is a bonus.

thank you

Clone the internal memory and dump password.

It has an internal micro drive (8G) but very hard to dismantle the whole unit. If there is a way to disable/bypass the Windows Mobile 6 Password it will save a lot of time.

That's why the cost would be high.

Image the microdrive. It's either CF or ATA bus. Not sure how Windows Mobile stores the password, it may be in flash, and you can just reset it once you clone your hard disk.
