Tools for free? Interesting. Like you say, knowledge is the power. Sometime, if you know how only debug.exe and one hex-editor is needed to repair maxtor. Or using free version of
hdd.exe from dixxi.narod.ru with command sector in buffer.

Has people here offering the "solution" for N40P for free, why I can not have ?
I'm not able ? Mfast from SA, are saying that he have the solution and that he can give it.
Do you think that I'm not qualified to recive the free solution ?
Come on, I think that Mfast already give this to a huindred person, why not me ?

Where have you seen that Mfast is giving a solution for N40P for free ? I have seen all messages in this forum and I haven't seen that post. I don't think that if somebody has a solution for Maxtor slims, he will give it for nothing. If you find somebody that wants to "power" you with that software for free, please let me know. :teeth:

Not true - I would not do this...........

What is free - sharing of experiences - this I have done.

Also, once again thanks to all who have shared their experiences with me.
