Hello;
I have a Seagate Hard Disk with bad sectors and I would like to recover the information from it. I wonder if any of you have tried
http://www.jpcentury.com/pro_list02.aspx?cid=C_00000004 that hardware to make a copy of the whole disk and then try to recover the information from the copy.
I have tried to do a copy of the disk with different software, like hddup (demo version) but I am having the same problem with all of them: they start ok but after a little while the drive becomes unready; and then it will not recover anything else. I believe is because the bios deactivates the drive because if I try to do it again, I cannot find it anymore.
I will appreciate any advise that you could give me.
BTW, does anyone know how much the hddup full version costs ?
Thanks in advance,
