hi beto, patient rom moved to donor pcb will not start up.

do u mean the NVRAM (EEPROM)? these drives usually have ROM inside the controller.... as far as I know...

the fact that the donor pcb did not start up with patient eeprom doesn't mean it is damaged, a FW version mismatch is enough.
U should try to read it out in a programmer and see its contents.
