Need help from recovery guru

Hello... I have a Fujitsu notebook that came with Drive Image Special Edition on it. In the past I've used Drive Image to restore the machine to its factory backup. Now the OS won't boot, I've tried utilities but no luck. Now I've got the HDD connected via USB adapter to another computer and it's all there... Drive Image, the backup image, and (I think) all my files.
So, is there a way I can use this hard drive in the original machine, and get it to restore the factory image, even though the OS won't boot?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

First off it is connected to another computer and you can see your files do a back up on the drive and dump it all to the other computer.

Second attach the drive back inside the notebook and see if you can get into the BIOS and it will recognize that drive there.

If you can see the drive it might be you have a problems in your restore image file that is located in a portion of your hard drive

Try another OS and set up your options to boot from CD first then HDD

Try to load a OS to the sytem from CD and format the drive. Will take a lot longer this way you will need to go to the site and download all your drivers to make the computer function correctly

If all this doesn't work change out your hard drive and start all over. You might be able to make a partation on the new drive and from your saved file load it onto the new drive and try to boot from there. If not you will be stuck with a new OS and dowloading drivers for this computer
